She is the companion who will walk with you to watch the sunrise, who will eat the same beach shack food you are eating without complaint, who will curl up against you on the resort balcony and be completely, contentedly present in the moment. And then, when the sun goes down and the waves are quiet and the evening privacy begins, she brings all of that accumulated warmth and genuine connection into the intimate part of the night.
